This small, weighted filter is perfect for Nano tanks: ten gallons and under. The fine mesh provides a home for the vital bacteria that keep your water clean and balanced, plus, you have oxygenation in the little bubbles that are directed out the top.

Some tips for cleaning this filter:

When your filter gets clogged, and is no longer holding dirt, place it slowly inside a baggie while still underwater. If you try to pull it out above the water, you'll just spew all that dirt back into your water. Give it a quick rinse, and squeeze it a few times to dislodge dirt, then place it back in your tank. No replacements, or special parts needed!
