Care Requirements
- Minimum Tank Size: 55 gallons for a juvenile; 75+ gallons recommended for adults
- Tank Mates: Best kept with other calm South/Central American cichlids, silver dollars, or larger schooling fish. Avoid housing with very small fish that can fit in their mouth.
- Setup: Thrives in setups with driftwood, rock structures, and plenty of swimming space.
